Photography has been in my family for several generations now, from my great, great uncle using glass negatives to my hobbyist father and his brother who has a successful career in advertising, wedding and travel photography, even writing books on the subject. As a child I would run off with my father's camera which became less of a problem as digital technology emerged.
My dedication to creativity and in turn photography started at the age of six with Saturday, out of school art classes. These classes didn’t just help enhance my artistic skills by giving me the chance to teach them to some of the young students as I got older, but they would also commission me to take photographs for events.
I have been lucky enough to visit various cities around the world including Paris, Barcelona, Beijing and New York but some of the more unusual places I have found myself, will stick in my mind forever. At the age of 14 climbing Kilimanjaro and at 17 I trekking 100km across the Sahara Desert both in the name of charity.
